Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
Cream butter and sugars.
Add vanilla and eggs and beat well.
Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
Last add white chocolate chips and nuts.
Roll into balls and space evenly onto greased or non stick cooking tray.
Bake for 12 minutes.
