This is a chunky, creamy soup recipe that will fill you up while remaining very low in calories!
Prepare soup mix as directed. Our soup mix requires 8 cups water ( add 1 extra cup for long simmer time)
Bring water to the boil then turn down to simmer
Add soup mix, vegetables and ham, Simmer and stir often.
Ready in 20-60 minutes once vegetables and soup thickness is to your liking. I prefer a longer simmer time to let the vegetables break down and combine into the soup a little.
Season with pepper to taste
Bear Creak soup mix may not be available in some area's. You can use any similar chicken soup ideally for 6-8 cup soup. Most supermarkets will carry a local brand soup mix. Creamy chicken or noodle work great.
