Description
Indulge in our Easy Caramel Crunch Ice Cream, a luscious blend of rich caramel swirled with chocolate and toffee bits, evoking the comforting taste of homemade hokey pokey ice cream. With no ice cream maker required, simply grab a bowl and a beater to create this delectable frozen treat.
Ingredients
  • 1 can, caramel condensed milk or La Lechera
  • 500 ml cream
  • 150 g crunchie bar
Instructions
  1. Beat cream until nearly whipped. (should be thick and have increased in volume)
  2. Beat in the condensed milk.
  3. Add the crushed chocolate and mix.
  4. Pour into a freezer container and leave to set.
  5. Notes
  6. Setting time will vary and dependant on use. It can be served semi-chilled or as thickened cream-mousse texture 1 hour+ or as ice cream usually fully set in 6-12 hours.
  7. Condensed milk (AUS/NZ) and La Lechera (USA) are the same product. In Australia and New Zealand the can is 425g vs the 397g US Nestle La Lechera. One can is sufficient in both cases.
  8. Cadbury Crunchie bars are similar to the Violet Crumble in Australia. I am not aware of any similar product in USA. They can be purchased on amazon or let me know in comments any alternative you have found.
  9. Nutritional values will vary depending on products used.
