Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C (350F).
  2. Mix together flour, sugar and rolled oats.
  3. Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add to the butter and golden syrup.
  4. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and stir in the liquid.
  5. Roll into balls and place on lightly greased tray.
  6. Bake until lightly brown.
