Easy Ice Cream – Mint Chocolate

Indulge in our Easy Mint Chocolate Ice Cream, a luscious and refreshing treat that’s a breeze to make. With no ice cream maker required, just a bowl and a beater, you can create this delightful minty chocolate dessert. If mint chocolate isn’t your favorite, explore our other flavor combinations.

  • 400 g can condensed milk, fat free
  • 500 g standard whipping cream
  • 1 tsp peppermint essence
  • 3 drop green food colouring
  • 180 g dark chocolate chips
  1. Add peppermint, food coloring and cream to a bowl.
  2. Beat cream until nearly whipped. (should be thick and have increased in volume)
  3. Beat in the Condensed Milk
  4. Stir through the chocolate chips
  5. Pour into a freezer container and leave to set
  6. Setting time will vary and dependant on use. It can be served semi-chilled or as thickened cream-mousse texture 1 hour+ or as ice cream usually fully set in 6-12 hours.

Notes

  1. Condensed milk (AUS/NZ) and La Lechera (USA) are the same product. In Australia and New Zealand the can is 425g vs the 397g US Nestle La Lechera. One can is sufficient in both cases.
