Milk Chocolate Roughs
Indulge in our Milk Chocolate Roughs, a delightful treat featuring the irresistible combination of crunchy cornflakes and velvety milk chocolate. These scrumptious morsels are perfect for leftover cornflakes, transforming them into a delectable dessert that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Biscuit
- 200 g butter
- 75 g sugar
- 175 g flour
- 25 g cocoa
- 50 g cornflakes
Icing
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp boiling water
- 50 g finely grated chocolate
- 225 g icing sugar
Cookie
- Cut butter into cubes and let soften at room temperature. Mix butter and sugar, beat to a cream.
- Once combined mix in flour and cocoa
- With a spoon stir the cornflakes into mix
- Put raised spoonfuls on a baking paper lined tray
- Bake at 180’C (350’F) for 15 minutes
- Let biscuits cool before trying to move or apply icing.
Icing
- Dissolve chocolate with water and add to butter
- Stir in sifted icing sugar and vanilla
- Apply to cooled cookies
