  • 2 Sheets Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry
  • 6oz Shredded Chicken (cooked)
  • 4oz Spinach
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 Cup Monterrey Jack Cheese
  • ¼ Cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • 1 Green Onion sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons Marinara Sauce
  • 6 cherry tomatoes or 1 small tomato
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Filling:
  2. Can use food mixer - aim for small chunks
  3. Blend spinach, chicken, green onion, egg, cheese & marinara sauce
  4. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to your preference.

  5. Pastry
  6. Thaw pastry (use when soft enough to roll but before it turns gooey)
  7. Lay sheets out to thaw evenly (Triangle works well once sides soft enough to move)
  8. Spread half the mixture on the pastry sheet leaving 1" clear one end and a 0.25" inch the other end.
  9. Fold the 0.25" edge of pasty over and start to roll the sheet evenly working towards the 1" clear end.
  10. Wet the inside edge of the 1" section with milk, water, egg or sauce and finish rolling.
  11. Slice the sheets into pieces (no less than 9 or pastry may not cook in center)

  12. Cooking
  13. Heat oven to 400F (adjust if using different pastry)
  14. Lay flat side down on greased baking tray
  15. Cook for 15 minutes one side
  16. Flip and cook additional 0-10 minutes (flipping is optional)
  17. Use visual on extra time as it can vary depending on size of slices, filling and oven.
  18. They should be golden brown and cooked in the center
~ Avoid using a cheese or meat that releases oil during cooking and this will make the pasty greasy and not crisp.
~ Cooking time may vary with different fillings
~ This recipe is highly adaptable interchange ingredients as you wish. For example spicy sausage or bacon.
~ If you lower the meat amount to use a stronger flavor like spicy sausage then you can increase the spinach if you need more filling
